The moment we arrived we contacted Summit Rentals who manages the property for the owner. Our toilets looked worse than a public restroom, we sent pictures imediately and we were informed that someone could come the next day and clean it.. why couldnt that person just clean them right the first time? We decided to start dinner and we found food on pots and pans from previouse guests, the dishes had food on them aswell. Absolutely annoyed that we are paying an $820.00 cleaning fee and doing the cleaning for them we decided to go to bed. When we got into bed we noticed a nauseating smell of detergent, it would seem as if the cleaners used so much the entire bed smelled like laundry soap. We contacted summit rentals again only to be advised that thwy can send someone to change them but most likely the sheats will have been treated the same.. the over use of detergent was so bad that it made our skin smell like it the next morning. We ended up washing our own sheets because cleary summit rentals did not want to help. The worst part of the bed beyond the smell of detergeant was the expired mattress that had us tossing and turning all night until we gave up and layed on the floor. The next morning we spoke to the other guest who were also complaining about their mattresses and a few whom it caused neck pain or headaches. The mattresses are older if not as old as the kitchen appliances. When we contaced Summit Rentals they said their was nothing they could do about it but let the owner of the home know. So again absolutely no help from the company charging us for the rental. On the last night we found tics in the upstairs bedroom. At this point I didnt even waste my time contacing Summit Rentals as they had proven to be completely useless in assisting us with anything. We took pictures of everything and if were possible id post them here. The tv remote button to go "right" did not work so guess what .. the tv in the living room was useless.
