It also had its own hot tub, and the staff was very sweet to us. My Chevy was too tall to fit in the garage so they let me park out front and plug in my block heater. The busses are free and they’ll take ya anywhere in town. The slopes are fantastic, and you can plan your ski route to end right in front of the lodge when you’re done for the day. We unfortunately experienced construction in the unit directly below ours during our stay. They started early and worked throughout the day. This was stressful as they turned off water in the unit one day and the hammering and sawing prevented our son from napping. While SMR was quick to send maintenance when the water was not working, they stopped responding when I complained about the construction. When we checked out 2 days later, I talked to someone in the office who said that they had no idea that construction was occurring. We found the heating element of a wall heater was exposed upon arrival, and had to ask for it to be fixed so my youngest didn't actually touch it which couldn't happen until the next day. Also, there is no way to lock the door from the condo to the room with the hot tub and then to the patio. It's on the 4th floor so not worried about people coming in, but I had to put a kitchen chair in front of the door to make sure my little wouldn't try to go on the patio by herself. Also, the furniture has hard wood decorations on the end of it which hurt when you slightly hit it. I hurt myself a couple times when sitting down, but the kids hit themselves on it alot. It's good for adults and older kids."
